North Shore General Practice offers a monthly women’s health clinic run by our specialist woman’s health GP Dr Tracey Ballais to focus on the specific needs of women at any stage of life.

Tracey can assist you with any women’s health issue including:

Breast examinations
Menopause management
Postnatal planning
Contraceptive advice
Mirena insertion
Pap smears
Sexual difficulties

Counselling
Period problems
Shared Antenatal care
Fertility issues
Pregnancy planning
Well Women’s checks
Continence management

Appointments

North Shore Well Women’s Clinic is a Private Billing service. (no bulk billing)

Consultations are by appointment only

We schedule 15 minute appointments per standard consultation.

All patients attending the Well Women’s Clinic for the first time require a Long Consultation.

If you have several issues to discuss or have a complex issue please inform reception as you will require a longer appointment.

All accounts must be settled on the day of service, no accounts are issued. Fees may be paid by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. (Surcharges apply)

Well Women's Health Check

Our Well Women’s Check is a comprehensive health assessment that includes a pap smear, breast examination and general health check.

The health check will take 45 minutes(15mins with the nurse & 20 – 39 minutes with the doctor)

Cost: $198.00

(Out of pocket / gap payment $80.00)
